Starting with the pioneers of the acting industry or filmmakers, or pop stars, or reality TV stars, every single one of them left a gap in the cultural scene. These personalities were not just celebrities, but narrators, activists and role models. These are nine memorable names whose legacies will keep on glowing even years after the curtain came down.
1. Melanie Watson – Breaking Barriers on Screen and Beyond
Melanie Watson, the actress who played Kathy Gordon on the television show Diff’rent Strokes was killed on December 26 at the age of 57 in Colorado Springs.
