The loyalty is different among dogs. To others, it could be the loyalty of a retriever trailing behind them when they are out walking. To others it is one of keeping a keen eye at the window in front or a small pet demanding that it be in the same room at all times.
Families usually refer to loyalty as a dog selecting the kind of people and remaining with them. Dog breeds, which are more loyal, tend to go hand-in-hand with the best dogs as the AKC vice president of communications Brandi Hunter Munden said: It is not the expression of that devotion on a daily basis, but being trainable, gentle with children or willing to be involved on a regular basis.
Most of the breeds that are known to be loyal have one thing in common; they have history of working with humans. Dogs trained to retrieve, herd, guard and companionship tend to bring that kind of team mentality to the family life particularly when their socialization and training is included in their daily existence.

1. Labrador Retriever
Not a lot of breeds are as stereotyped to be friendly and remain closely attached to their families. Labs tend to get attached to the people, and this may manifest in the most adorable forms- when walking with them instead of running. They are considered lively, social and enthusiastic about what the house is doing.
There is a requirement of engagement to that devotion. This working water dog origin of the Labrador can be used to understand why many of them perform well in constant motion and training which involves at least two hours of physical activity every day.

2. Golden Retriever
It is easy to think of golden retriever as a traditional family dog: warm to outsiders but very much aware of their home. They are fond of spending their time together, whether it is playing in the backyard or silent nights. Their friendliness helps many families in their everyday life.
Goldens also like to have a job even though it may be such a basic one as the carrying of a toy around, getting used to the rhythm in the house, or practicing the simplest skills with the children. Their loyalty tends to appear as a permanent willingness to be involved.

3. German Shepherd
German shepherds are also described as strong bonded to their owners, as well as being confident and trainable. Most of them were grown up as working partners and the same background can be reflected in the extent to which they trace the movement and the feelings of their family.
This translates to a dog that desires direction and hierarchy to the family. Their loyalty may seem to be reliable and dedicated with early socialization and consistent training particularly in homes that have active and routine oriented lifestyle.

4. Beagle
Beagles are another form of loyalty, they are very expressive, funny, people oriented and tend to be the happiest when they are involved in family activities. It is their history as pack hounds which go to explain their attraction to the family life togetherness.
Families usually fare well by showing love and imparting discipline because their noses can get them into trouble. Beagle loyalty can have a loose interpretation of the word guard through turning up with character and heart.

5. Cocker Spaniel
The cocker spaniels are known to be faithful companions. Most of them were originally raised as hunters and that is translated to a dog that likes to be with its partner- walking with the family, learning and signals and to be close by.
They are said to be easy to train and child friendly, and loyalty seems to make sense: such a dog is eager to cooperate, not to co-exist.

6. Doberman Pinscher
Dobermans are not always regarded as aggressive but most households find them affectionate and caring pets. Their obedience may resemble close trailing and having an interest in tracking the activities of every one of them.
Since they are so loyal, they should be trained and exposed to others regularly to ensure that their devotion is kept in check and under control in the real life.

7. Collie
One word can be used to describe the collies, and this is devoted. The fact that they are popular as family dogs is related to their constant temper and ability to establish strong relationships, particularly in families with children and routines.
They tend to be less dramatic about their loyalty, and therefore they are usually around, kept close, and they stand watch in a quiet manner which is very comforting to the family.

8. Australian Shepherd
Australian shepherds like having a purpose and this is associated with their herding origin. In the family sphere, it may become a dog desiring to be involved in all activities games, hiking, training or the watching of yard time.
Most of the Aussies are loyal when they connect with each other by being attentive at all times. Family members who like teaching abilities and offering organised games usually experience growth in their relationships in a short time.

9. Dachshund
Dachshunds are not always large, however, their devotion is frequently large and intimate. It is common in most families to see that a dachshund will stick by its owner and would rather be close to the person they are attached to and would follow the household habits strictly.
They are adaptable in all types of living conditions and their loyalty is usually expressed in the form of self-assured companionship; one who insists on being present and being involved and providing lots of personality.

10. Pug
Pugs are companions, and their devotion usually takes the form of affection of proximity being on the couch or in the same room or even underfoot in the kitchen. Families love the fact that they can be flexible to different spaces of accommodation as long as their individuals remain close to them.
Looking at the fact that loyalty sometimes even becomes distress on its own, it is important to distinguish devotion and anxiety. The AKC defines separation anxiety as the distress behavior, which may begin a few minutes after a guardian has gone such as the continuous vocalizing and the destructive attempts.

11. Newfoundland
Newfoundlands are patient, gentle and are served in a big package. Traditionally raised to assist fishermen, many of them demonstrate a level-headed readiness to cooperate with individuals and remain close to them once they get into a relationship.
Their devotion in the family context tends to manifest themselves in the form of unwavering affection and an otherwise oddly cuddly demeanor with regard to a large dog. The size matters much but most families have discovered that their temperament is a strong asset at home.
It takes a lot of basic elements to make loyalty a beautiful quality and it is based on the fundamentals of training, socialization and creating a way of life that would fulfill the needs of the dog. According to the AKC, the interactions of loyal dogs can be very close, and they can be trained easier because of their desire to please, particularly with breeds that have been trained to operate in close association with humans.
