A misstep on the part of a celebrity which goes viral can be as memorable as the event itself. It is touching and received warmly at times. At other moments, it is fumbling or tardy or so disastrously done that it generates more backlash. Since it can be overdone when it comes to making apologies, these apologies demonstrate that even contrition on the part of the masses can take a wrong turn within no time.
